Cake: Easy Recipes
Ah, Pastry with a capital P, the kind that makes us dream, that turns us into gourmets, daring chefs who try the most challenging recipes!
Yes... but not always! Sometimes we just crave a treat, a good CAKE without spending hours on it.
Amateurs or professionals, today we have decided to offer you a TOP 3 of the easiest recipes or how to indulge without the hassle!
1) Pound Cake
Who can resist the delightful aroma and softness of a good pound cake?
It also has the advantage of being made with basic ingredients we always have on hand: Flour, butter (of course!), eggs, sugar, baking powder.
For those who still don't know how to make it, here is the quick recipe to never fail:
Melt 250 g of butter, a whole slab yes yes just that!
Mix the melted butter with 250 g of sugar and a packet of vanilla sugar.
Gradually add 250 g of eggs, about 4 eggs, while mixing.
Then finish with 250 g of flour and a packet of baking powder.
Pour the mixture into a buttered mold, and finish by adding a little soft butter along the preparation to achieve the beautiful "pound cake" effect!
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
Finally, enjoy!
2) Chocolate Fondant
To stay in the realm of softness and indulgence, we couldn't skip the chocolate fondant! Easy, delicious, and loved by the whole family.
For the children's snack or as a dessert with a scoop of ice cream, we offer you an easy chocolate fondant recipe:
Start by melting 200 g of butter with 200 g of chocolate (a bar).
In another bowl, beat 3 eggs with about 140 g of sugar until you get a frothy mixture.
Add 50 g of flour to this mixture, and the butter/chocolate mix.
Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured mold, then bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15/20 minutes.
Enjoy hot!
3) Apple Tart
With its aroma of roasted apples filling the house, the crispness of its flaky pastry that cracks under the tooth... the apple tart is one of the French's favorite pastries and we completely understand!
Of course, it can be homemade, with puff pastry and homemade compote, but for those in a hurry or beginners, a store-bought puff pastry and ready-made compote will do just fine!
The Recipe:
Unroll and spread your puff pastry roll in your tart pan.
Pour and spread 150 g of apple compote.
Place on the compote slices of 3 or 4 apples cut into thin wedges.
Sprinkle with vanilla sugar or brown sugar.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Enjoy your meal!
